What model is the finisher? One of them has four screws that go through a plate on the finisher and fasten it to the left side of copier. The other one just has a bar that the finisher slides on and there is a long screw that goes through the bar to hold it.
They are both pretty easy to remove.

I highly advise to remove the transfer belt unit before removing the fusing unit. It can otherwise be damaged very easily in the process.

Why? The fuser clears the transfer belt by a wide margin.
Besides, he corrected himself, it is the finisher he wants to remove.

Yap and still you can hit the belt with the fuser unit if you don't take care.

You must be doing it with your eyes closed Hans.

Well, if you are in a hurry and if you have rheumatic pains in your hands and if the fusing unit is hot as molten lava and if you are suffering from a serious bout of dumbfuckness, than you might let the fusing unit slip out of your hands hitting the fuser belt causing a fat nick in it.

Ofcourse this all never happened to me. Ofcourse.
