    BizHub 420 Counter reset?

Need to know how to reset operation panel user warning to "Replace Fusing unit soon" I have looked in service mode and reset all counters for parts and also looked on the unit its self for a fuse like the older units use to have in the connectors. BizHub 420 Fuser.jpg

From service mode , go into System 1 and initialize the fuser.

    Re: BizHub 420 Counter reset?

First answer was off the top of my head...

    This is straight from SSD...

    CAUSE: Incorrect settings.

    SOLUTION: To clear the message:
    1. Enter Service Mode.
    2. Select [System 1].
    3. Select [Initialization].
    4. Select [Counter Data].
    5. Select [Fixing Counter].
    6. Press the Start button.
    7. Exit the Service Mode.
Note: This problem may occur after upgrading the firmware.

Maybe you can understand that a little easier

Firmware must be a 31 or it will not be available.

Ditto on this. Had a machine that I couldn't clear the counter following the above procedure. FW update fixed this.
