Does anyone have an opinion on if they have resolved the issue with the black drum developing lines on the M6635 vs the M6535?
    Thanks

The marks on the drums is a known problem with this model however there is a technical bulletin with a drum upgrade. I know Kyocera has/had a drum compensation program for this model. Might be useful to inquire at you distributor.

The problem is the pressure, or lack thereof, of the cleaning blade.
The product may be brilliant and the salesperson proficient, but if the technician isn’t efficient, then the story will end there.

Thanks All of the drums that we have used to replace the drums have been the "Updated Drums", but the situation is getting worse some of the new blades have only lasted 2 weeks or less. Even have one customer who is demanding we replace the machine, and I don't blame them.

clean or replace the trans belt, it's dropping junk onto the drums which ruins the cleaning blades.

give the belt a shake while vertical(with cleaner at top), i bet stuff falls out.

The cleaning unit isn't to hard to disassemble/reassemble

New drums dont work either. Just had to replace 2 on the new 6635s!

I agree with NTBann, new drum doesnt resolve issue. Also, putting a washer spacer to help increase pressure doesn't seem to solve issue either.
Today I went to a machine that I installed the washer spacer on, and the problem is back. So I double the washer thickness today. I have to be at max spacing, so I am probably going to find toner falling out and not being augered to waste container next time I go out.

I will update this post after a couple of months have passed. See attachment for print defect.

The real issue is heat buildup in the machine as a result of low usage combined with long sleep times. The toner is literally fusing to the surface of the black drum due to proximity to the fuser.

The real cure that I've used is to decrease the sleep time to 5 minutes or less. This can be a hard sell to some customers, but it absolutely does stop toner from fusing to the black drum.

While they're waiting that extra 30 to 40 seconds to get their print, they can use that time to think about all those drum replacements that they won't have to do. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Updated on putting 2 washers spacer, to apply even more pressure, it wasn't successful.
Might try Black Cats Suggestion of decreasing the time the machine is awake.
But why is there toner on the drum to melt to it in the fisrt place? Going to take a good look at transfer belt cleaner too.

The black drum cleaning unit always has some toner in it. If you look at the dot patterns you'll see that they align crossfeed. =^..^=
