I have replaced multiple DV units for the same problem in each and every case the user was using some type of cotton bond paper. There is a new style toner exhaust unit that is supposed to have a better fan. It is now up to the third generation so I think something is going on. I have posted about this before. Do a search.

I also have a 7002i in a school just bought in August 175,745 count & is streaking real bad front & back just replaced the Dev. unit and it took care of the problem!
Very common occurrence. Did 2 in the last 2 weeks.
