TASKalfa 7002i - add toner issue

We have a 7002i that is having a toner/motor issue. It was saying that the NEW toner cartridge we put in only had 6% toner in it and would keep trying to add toner. It would add toner then make about 50 copies and start the add toner thing again. We installed another new toner and it showed to have 100% toner but then after 250 copies it started the add toner thing again. We made sure it had the latest firmware and even reinstalled the full firmware but it did not help. We installed a new motor and that did not help. We are thinking maybe a sensor issue but we do not know where to start or if you have any suggestions we would appreciate it.

It appears you have a toner sensor error. You could try running sim 130 & 131, but it is most likely a bad toner sensor in the developer unit. I would start with replacing the DV unit first.

Please remember toner hopper motor/ toner hopper sensor.
At this system you can change toner on the fly.
Which motor you changed?
Maybe faulty connection for toner hopper sensor.
If always "ON" state, toner motor won`t turn.
Check connection for toner hopper sensor on front pwb YC8/ Pin18 + YC10/ Pin 8

Changed the feed drive assy for the K unit. Now it adds toner but stops after a while during normal copy cycle to add toner. Replaced the developing unit (per Kyocera tech support) and ran U130 and U131 still the problem with it stopping and adding toner during just regular copying.
