did you tried another drum unit?
below drum unit you`ll find the registration sensor.
Have had broken drum pwb and/ or bad connection between drum and system.

Can you post a sample image so we can see what it is doing, and the status / service status pages just in case it is a setting that needs to be changed?

i used to see this on an older model kyocera printer years ago. i believe replacing the imaging unit usually fixed it.

Hey! Is the letterhead printed on another laser based device, maybe color? So when you take this color image fused at 160C then run it a second time through the Kyocera printer fusing at 180C the image loosens and reprints at 110mm intervals (the interval of the fuser)?

Sorry to say, there's nothing you can do about that.
    =^..^=

    thank you for your reply
the letterheads aren't preprinted even if you print a status page or menu map it starts printing from just above the middle of the page , it looks like either
page has fed too early or the printing started late

Feed a sheet of legal or similar through the bypass and watch it to see if it feeds, then stops momentarily, then continues. Your registration roller may be turning all the time causing the image to be shifted down. Also, can you scan service status pages so some of us can see printer settings?

Brandon, it still looks like the registration roller is turning all the time causing the paper to feed under the drum prematurely (beating the image). You may be able to tell if you try what I ask; feed a legal sheet from the bypass because it should be plenty long enough for you to see if it feeds to the registration roller and then stops momentarily. If there is no pause at all from the moment it is pulled from the bypass then the registration roller is turning all the time. If that is what is happening then it is either the signal to the clutch holding it on (not likely) or the clutch is just really gummed up and turning all the time (more likely), especially with the number of pages this printer has seen.
