    Kyocera Toner

Hello, Has anyone found a generic toner for the M3040idn and 2535idn that does not cause problems?? I tried Precision Roller and it caused the drums to fail early, way early. How about Katun anbody??
    Thanks Ant

I use the katun and have no problems, use them on m3040idn, 3550idn, fs4200, etc. On the 3550 and 4200 i get close to 30k prints.

Hi Anthony, not sure where you are based, here in the UK I use a generic toner from a company called THS from Germany, it works really well.

Integral toner (german manufactured) works fine. Used in several machines for more than a year in 3-5k prints per month with out issues. Thats tk3102.

In m2040dn (tk1175) we note a lighter black on solids. No costumer complains yet but we noted that. Recently start using CET toner who works very well for us in 1135 and 2035 (1142-1147).

Yea THS toners works great. Problem is it became to expensive for us to import...
The bizhub machines loved that stuff. One some models i would argue its somehow better than original dare i say.

This is true of Canon monocomponent as well. I've had poor results from all generic monocomponent toner.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
