Kyocera KM-5035 does not wake up from power save mode. It show blank screen but self check was done. Disconnect and reconnect power at wall plug brings copier to normal operation. What should I replace Engine board or Power board or both or something else? Thanks in advance for all your help...
Where’s your firmware at? I’ve had a few 4053s recently with the same issue. Firmware has sorted it.
Does that old machine (5035) even take a firmware update? I can't remember. They were some darn good machines in their day, but I never hooked them up for scanning, only print and copy. Didn't much like that DP though. Being that it's 15 years old it might be a good time to upgrade it.Originally Posted by Ropariva

You might try removing the fax option. They've been known to cause bizarre issues. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
