mystery part between taskalfa 4550ci and PF740; also request suggestions on joining

Just picked up a Taskalfa 4550ci for $300 w/finisher and what I think is PF740 base.

I am previous owner of 250ci, and have previously leased 4 of the 250/350 and 4550.
Had to disassemble to get it in vehicle (I know, I know, I should
have wrapped and wheeled it onto a liftgate), but the drive was long, and also
didn't want to transport it laying down.

Anyway, while reassembling, the 4 people I had helping lower it onto
the PF740 base (only 2 spoke english) misunderstood and we managed to
crunch a plastic piece that was sticking up on the PF740 cassette 3/4 base.
it's a plastic part that seems to feed the paper vertically into the bottom of
4550 and contains a roller. rest of MFP works now, but paper jams at the roller
    from cassette 3/4.

    I've read 4550 service manual + PF740 service manual + 4550 parts list and PF740 parts list.
It's never shown in the manuals on assembly pictures; originally thought it was
vertical conveyor unit or primary feed unit, but now think it might be
    303NF94010...middle roller unit.

Any good source for parts? can someone confirm that's the right piece?

Any hints on how to lower it properly next time. I think I might set it on top with
2x4 blocking and plywood shims, position, and then progressively lower them.
Is there any way to add the roller unit after assembly?

that part isn't supposed to be there during the positioning of the machine onto the feeder. it gets installed once the two sections are secured.
two screws, and 1 wire plug hidden behind smooth black removable guide are how it's installed/removed.

try searching online for 303nf94010 "parts middle roller unit sp"
