Have a customer that says the top cassette pops out by itself. I did notice the tray wouldn’t latch good. I can open it without pressing the latch. The next tray works fine. The latch catches. So I moved tray 2 up to tray 1 port and it did the same thing in the top port. Not sure what catches it. Thoughts appreciated!
Is there paper in the back of the cassette port? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Sooner or later we all miss something simple now and then after a long day
No paper behind tray. It is almost like there’s too much right to left movement of the tray. The latch is on the left side, just a small clear looking gadget
should the latch at machine body wear out
Check the lift motor, if the plastic gear that lifts the paper was broken it could push the cassette open instead of lifting.
