Re: Kyocera 250ci Firmware - Latest

    Dear Kyo_oem,

I'm was thinking why i have to swap the good code dimm with the bad one?
Why i can't upgrade the FW with the good one without swapping this dimm?

Could you explain this to me please?

    Kind regards

There are a few guys on this site that I consider to be experts on Kyoceras and KYO is one of 'em. I don't even question him anymore...especially when it comes to firmware issues.

this you can do if no new one available.
In your case you don`t need it.
Install the "ebay dimm" and hopefully it`s a well working one.
You`ll see it when LED is flashing on your Kingston during upgrade procedure.
    Good luck

    I've bought this code dimm...

Kyocera Printer Memory Module A0219AME + GH | eBay

This dimm seems to be another review (newer than mine).
I'll keep you in touch after the installation!

    grts

Unhappy Re: Kyocera 250ci Firmware - Latest

    Hello KYO_OEM,

My ebay code dimm has been arrived and installed but no luck....
Screen is still stuck at the 'welcome' screen.
I've waited more than 1 hour.
I saw r/w on my usb flashing many times on booting, with the other code dimm i didn't saw anything at all.
I saw the led 1x flashing on the OP.

    What i further did...
I've changed the dip switch on the mainboard of the OP to 'boot', started the machine and waited until the memory led stop flashing.
Changed the dip switch again to normal position.
Turned of the machine and tried again to update the F/W.

    Hi Jabberwocky,
I'm very interested with your software routine to "wrap" TLS 1.0 inside of a TLS 1.2 packet.
Could you please explain how did you do it ?
    Regards
