Question Can unwanted faxes be blocked on a Kyocera 406ci with fax unit?

My dental customer is receiving too many junk faxes and wants to call block them. Is there a way to not receive unwanted faxes? The fax is on all the time, so unplugging it isn't an option, and they send everything to email is " too much work" for them to do. Dontcha love it!! 40 plus years in business and I learn and see something new everyday

Forward fax to email or folder
Nope you can't block them. Only problem with fax forward is no output means no money.

There is an RX restriction setting that allows you to set a list of permitted numbers or a list of rejected numbers. Check out the Fax User Guide for that model.

Yep its there but in 40 years NEVER used it. Only permitted numbers than you'll get calls can't receive faxes

It works, but there will be a lot of complaints about non-whitelisted numbers not going through. You'll be there constantly editing the list. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
