clean or replace the charge roller

37.5mm, it should be charge roller as Luther mentioned. Sometimes cleaning isn't sufficient you have to replace parts.

roll your fingers on the roller and usually you will feel bumps on it. The steel usually corrodes causing the issue
I had a similar problem on a 3500i and it was the charge roller.
It's my experience that cleaning the mc roller on kyo printers doesn't last all that long. Replacing them is the best option and easy to do.
