    Taskalfa 5235ci not booting

Hi I have had several machines not booting (staying on the "Kyocera screen") no errors. SSD , hard drive and main PCB replaced , firmware reloaded (latest, skip file removed) . The only clue is they all run Papercut. One machine did it with MyQ but was resolved with firmware. Anyone seen this?
    Thanks

Have you tried booting with out the network cable connected or with doors open ? Not sure if the application resides on the HDD or SSD, but replacing that would remove the Papercut possiblilty if it was on the HDD. That would be the only way to get rid of the app, if it was the cause.
    Hope that helps !

Thanks Tony, yes have tried that. This occoured on 4 devices on diferent sites over the Xmas break. It's very odd to say the least it's almost a virus like issue.

PaperCut shouldn't be a problem here, because PaperCut embedded app starts after machine successfully boots up. Even if there is a problem with the app you should see it after machine boots up - entire white screen, "please wait", browser error, Kyocera native login screen (not papercut), etc.

I agree in principal but Papercut seems to be the only connection, still not resolved Kyocera have suggested power supply, I'm sceptical to say the least.

Hi I've had similar issue also machines running papercut …4 x machines stuck on Kyocera screen however when i removed the SSD drives machine boots perfectly and come to authentication screen as the local authentication is turned on by papercut.

    Hi,
Can you tell MFP models? How did you resolved the issue?

    Hi
The model that I've had issue with are the Kyocera ecosys M3645 and Kyocera ecosys M3655... Both models use the HD-7 128gb SSDU slot in expansion boards... SSD had to be replaced as I was unable to find an adapter to connect the drive to the PC to inspect... But as the original post said the only common element was that the MFPs all had papercut embedded application installed... Please not that only 4 of the 16 units installed to exact specifications failed...... I had obviously followed all firmware and recovery fixes... Tried to format SSD but came back with error unable to perform format...
