Dislikes: I have a TA4002i that 3 weeks ago had yellow back grounded when scanning to SMB through the doc feeder only. From the glass was fine. Re calibrated scanner and the problem was gone. Its back now. Anyone seen this? Thanks in advance.

First thing I'd try is updating the firmware.
You may need to do a CCD calibration with the charts. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Do they do a lot of copying? Any background then? There's an issue with intermittent background through ADF only and i am wondering if it shows up yellow on your color scans instead of grey while copying.
