FS-C8525MFP asking for Maintenance Kit A

    FS-C8525MFP, Maincounter 224.407, color 055.897, B&W 168,510
    asking for Maintenance Kit A.

I'm an Indy doing 95% KonicaMinolta and just a very few Kyocera equipment.
What is maintenance kit "A" for this machine? What does it consist?

    Thanks

Best not to reset the count if you're not the replaced kit A

Simply extend the life an extra 50k or so as you will need to replace this kit eventually.

I disagree. This is not a high profit, production machine. Some of those parts will last the entirety of its life. Best to replace components as needed.

But good to have kit on hand so costumer doesn't have downtime no matter what it needs.

Customer is using for 95% of the time only K. Colors are not important at all and coming out good but K ist smearing as if the cleaning blade fails. Are there any aftermarket cleaning blades and drums or complete K-Drum units for this machine available?

Not that I'm aware of, but a OEM black drum unit won't cost that much. Make sure the primary transfer belt is cleaning. That's this machines biggest flaw. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Agree with Blackcat to check the cleaning of the transfer belt. This unit also has had the bad cleaning pipe for the transfer belt which backs up the cleaned toner in the cleaning brush and then gets deposited on the transfer belt. You can check if it is the auger which is on the left side of the unit by removing the devs and drums and the auger drive shaft, if turning the auger drive by hand you can feel if the gears are skipping or you observe that the gears do not rotate in both directions, you have a bad auger. See the attached bulletin. TA C2551 Procedure to remove transfer cleaning pipe.pdfIf it is the cleaning pipe not only will you have to replace it but our experience has been you will also need to replace the transfer belt. Once the cleaning brush gets clogged it will continue to clog even after changing the cleaning pipe

Usually because the gear with the "D" bore at the rear of the cleaning auger spins on the "D" shaft, or breaks off the auger shaft. It's not so easy to see why the gear is spinning free of the auger. =^..^=
