Your "CF25C" code appears to be either a Network Management problem or a fax internal communication error of some sort.

I would start addressing a network management issue my disconnecting from the customers network, then printing via crossover cable from my laptop. If no errors occur from the laptop, but return when back on the customers network I would suspect a corrupt print job, or non-print data hitting the MFP.

AFAIK the fax is built into the main board on this Kyocera. If it was a separate option I would re-seat it and the fax memory. If it is built into the main board, I think the main board would be your only option.

    That's a place to start anyway. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you for the help. It has been corrected. I think the 2 issues may not have been related.

First issue of no paper in tray 1 seems to be resolved by the main PWB.

2nd issue may have been corrupt firmware or corrupt data in the copier. She mentioned that F25C would be there 1st thing in the morning, she would get it to clear and work fine for the rest of the day. I was able to recreate by placing the copier in energy saver and it happened 5 out of 6 times withing 3 - 5 minutes. I flashed firmware and did a U21, initialize data. I placed copier in energy mode several times and the error never came back. She has been running the machine for a week and I have not heard back.

Kyocera suggested firmware and disabling protocals that the network does not use. I cannot confirm that their IT disabled any ports, I did not.

Re: M2540 - Add paper to cassette 1

Very often i receive phonecalls regarding "Add paper to cassette 1" when system received fax.
Endcustomer changed cassette setting from "auto metric" to fixed paper size A4 and this will happen!
If you switch back the setting to "auto metric" message disappear and system are working well again.
If you now install new main pwb, cassette setting would set to initial "auto metric".
I think you spend a lot of money for nothing.

regarding F25c i agree with blackcat.
