Sorry
I thought my original post as having scan to email and scan to USB was my first description as to the problem. Locks up the display as just processing.
Thanks

PDF files.
Quite basic I think. Anywhere from single page documents to multipage.
What version firmware are you running on it?
Firmware Version 2ND_2000.004.405 2020.02.06 TASKalfa 6052ci (STATUS PAGE)
From KDACONNECT
Thank You
Sorry my mistake.
Scans are just documents of plain text.
Again
Sorry.
BTW
Is the firmware mentioned above the most up to date?
Thanks
They have reviewed the USB log files and it has been escalated to KDC engineering (Japan) (They being KYOCERA USA)
Just to advise in case anyone is interested. (April 08, 2020)
Once I hear back I will advise.
Thank You

Response from KYOCERA.
KDC Engineering indicated they were able to process the U964 USB logs.
Advised to check QA Bulletin J059.
Corrective measures for abnormality occurrence during the DP operation. (Original jam, machine lock-up, service call error C9180,
abnormal sound from the DP feed-shift motor, etc.)
At this point a replacement DP-7100 was installed this morning to see if the problem leaves or continues.
The original DP-7100 serial number is V9A8635823 may fall into the serial number of affected model.
Depending on what happens in the next while I will advise if problem has been resolved.
By the way Bulletin J059 is on KDACONNECT
Thanks
