Kyocera 3050ci / Utax CDC 1930 Firmware Update for Scan To Folder SMB2

Hi, Does anybody know if there's a firmware update to allow the 3050ci / CDC 1930 to scan to SMB2?


We stopped dealing with Utax a few years ago so I no longer have access to their bulletins / downloads. The customer has updated their server and can scan to the Konica machines but not the Utax.


I've heard you can turn SMB1 back on but I'd rather stay away from that due to the security risks.

Yes, looks like they did release a FW update to enable SMB v2/v3 support.

Odd! In the US 12.1 has nothing to do with SMB 2/3. From what I understand its not possible to do that. UK must be different.

This firmware was never in a production release in the US. You have to request it from your Kyocera ASM.
