    J 508 jam

I have been working on a Kyocera Ecosys M5526 that throws the occasional J508 jam code. Only happens when customer uses duplex function. Printer puts 1st image on paper, page passes through fuser, and then partially exits. As machine begins to draw paper back through for 2nd image, the page jams at the exit/return rollers. Rollers spin on paper, then kicks page into exit tray and gives J508 code. I have cleaned sensors and rollers, with short term success. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance.

have you check the paper size setting in the paper tray?

    Re: J 508 jam

A while back i had an issue almost like this on an older model (intermittent jams when duplexing if you feed from the 2nd tray). replaced all sorts of mechanical parts. turns out it was the main board.

    made no sense.
