    F050 Kyocera fs 2000d

I have a Kyocera fs 2000d with a F050 error on start-up. I have a 128mb compact disk to upload the firmware. When I plug everything in, it comes up with supervisor mode parallel waiting. Any idea on how to fix this?

Time for a new machine me thinks. That’s gotta be 12 years old?
Have you tried doing it via a USB key? That model could be upgraded via parallel port, CF and USB.
F050 is certainly a firmware issue from memory....
Have you got the right download?
You might want to try just engine firmware on it’s own, then system? This is really stretching my memory F050 Kyocera fs 2000d
    Good luck.

Unfortunately I have a ton of these machines. I'm actually trying a new main pwb to see if it makes a difference. I have no way of doing the parallel. I think with a USB stick, I need either an older one, or one with very little memory. Which I don't have. I will update you if it fixes it or not

Yeah, I remember keeping some really small usbs for these. Good luck, they were a pretty decent printer.

If you're having issues getting USB to work try formatting with a utility other than windows built in disk management. The TASKalfa I've been playing with definitely won't recognize flash devices unless I format it with something else for some reason, I use Rufus for it.
