Do not lament,do not mock,do not hate, but understand.
Have you replaced the registration clutch. Have had the issue as well a few times and reg clutch was the culprit.
I had one of these giving me fits, I ended up replacing the paper feed board in the large deck. Also I hope you have brought a ream of good paper from your office to avoid some of the paper issues.
I'm a little confused. It looks like your original post is seeking assistance on two completely separate problems. This isn't recommended.
One an issue with your tandem tray. The other an issue in the fuser.
Also the use of the "bridge unit" I cannot tell if you're talking about exit-to-finisher bridge unit or the paper transport unit in tray 3,4 as a "bridge unit"
But as far as the fuser issue, I had the same thing and found broken guide fins in the exit-to-finisher bridge unit. I think when the customer pulls it out they break against the ops panel. I found them laying peacefully inside the bridge unit and was able to glue them back on.
It is 2 different problems. Good observation. And he's talking about the paper transport in the dual cassette unit as he said paper was stopping above tray 3. And I think he said the other problem was paper jamming at the registration roller. I think that's what he said.
Look at the mechanical levers/pivots for the sep rollers they are sluggish from the factory and don't move well. Also look at the pinch/convey rollers where it feeds into the vertical convey you will find large gaps.
You will need to stretch the springs a bit to resolve. This has resolved a lot of jamming on my machines.
