Hi Everyone,
Had this printer for a few years, this morning i printed out a picture and it has a line through the middle that is obviously missing some color. Not sure if this is something that needs to be manually cleaned or i can run some sort of maintenance. I included a picture of the issue. All help appreciated, thanks again.

You need to clean the laser. I'll see if I can find the instructions.
Edit: I don't have the manual for this model but most TaskAlfas you can clean it by going to the System Menu and then select "Clean Laser". But not sure about this model.

It was the one test i didn't run and it seemed it was the laser, thanks for the help appreciate it
it was the laser cleaning, somehow that was the one test i missed on my checklist. Thanks for the help everyone
Were I to make a guess I'd say it was the cyan slit glass that was dirty. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
