If it's like the previous Kyoceras, you designate a specific media type for faxes. Then set the desired tray for that media type.
**Remember** You cannot hard set the paper size for the tray that faxes are printed from. It MUST be set to Standard, Auto Detect.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

did you tried Quick Setup Wizard for Fax?
2552ci have had similar issue at frist, would solved by FW upgrade.
Don`t have system with inbuilt fax and diff. trays at the moment for testing.
system menu - common settings - paper output - fax
You can find all of that information in the User Manual.

@bsm2
It don`t work with fixed paper size( just tried)
@all
maybe there is a totally other problem behind.
If no additionell tray installed you don`t get the possibilty to "select output tray"
Mistakenly technicians are thinking that the upper tray inside will be selectable for paper out put.
It`s no Job Separator it`s only for duplex paper feeding.
Only in case of installed JS-7100, AK unit or finisher you get the possibilty to select out put trays.
If mistakenly U211/ JS would set to "ON" without installed JS-7100, green job separator LED will be always on but you can t select this tray for output.
Did I misread the original thread? I thought the poster wanted faxes to go onto a specific paper ... not to go to a specific output tray.
I think that was unclear in the original post. =^..^=
