Not a paper, or media type....

In your first reply you explained the right way....

Yeah, but what kind of tray? Output or paper? I thought he was talking about paper tray. You can set the default tray or output tray. Or both. The only thing is that you set the default paper tray by selecting the media type. He probably didn't know that.

This was the reason why i had written:
Try "Quick setup wizard".
By #5/ Output, you can select media type for fax and paper output.
But if no additionel tray installed, you can`t select any output tray.

Maybe you remember bulletin for Iris 1/ FW V3.00:
"Make it possible to specify the JS-7100 as the FAX output location.
When installing the DF, JS-7100 can be selected as the FAX output location. (However, it is not possible to output for A3/Ledger *)
Changes: Adding the “Job separator” to make it possible to select it for the existing FAX output location. (Possible to select both FAX line 1 and 2)."

Up to this FW version it was not possible to select other output tray. You must use the quick setup wizard to get the possibilty to select JS tray.
(I coudn`t test on Iris 2 if we have the same problem, because we don`t have additionally tray installed at our Iris 2 with fax inbuilt.)
