Do a 906 reset when you get there

Yeah, but they do heavy scanning and some of their medical charts are in color. I can't default to B&W.

By the way, what is executing sim. 906 gonna do for me? Just curious. I'm gonna do it.

906 is standard reset on all kyocera machines
It reset any faults detected by the machine ie paper tray, sorter , adf

You may also want to check to see if new firmware is available

Than set Auto Color you can turn on high compression only if needed it will delay the scans for a little bit it has to compress them than send
    150 dpi and text

Yeah, I know what 906 does I was just curious what it would do for a memory full message. That's not really an error code. Nonetheless, I will do it.

I already installed the latest firmware.

Will change to auto color, high compression and 150dpi.

    I owe you. Thanks again.

I'm playing around with the settings on a machine at the shop and I don't see where I can default to high compression scans. At least not thru the command center?

Don't know if it's in the command center in past I've always set it on panel. but very very rare setting out of the thousands of installs I've done

Just to follow up, I changed all the settings to your recommendation and then scanned some color pages and they look acceptable to me. Was worried that the low resolution would look like crap but it's good.
