I have a CS-3501i at the shop. For the life of me, I can't get it to scan to folder. I've checked all the scan settings and ports. SMB is turned on in windows. Still won't scan. When I use Kyocera's scan tool, it says it was set up successfully. I've tried creating a shared folder and setting up manually. I've done this a thousand times. I'm at a loss.
I have other Kyoceras on the same network and scanning to the same computer with no problem.
Any suggestions?
Whats the error code?
Is smb turned on the copier?
what port 139 or 445?
is user added to security?
Full Control checked?
I hate to ask the obvious...is the firmware up to date on this particular box?

3501i is old
You could use filezilla server and scan via ftp
Error 1102. 1102 usually is a bad password or wrong DNS settings. But the settings are the same as other machines in the shop that are working fine.
login error most likely smb 2.0 is the issue firmware maybe be available if not than scan via ftp or time to upgrade machine

It was introduced in 2013. I have same models in the field that scan fine.
And I have no idea about filezilla or ftp. I've read mentions of it on this site, but this is not my strong suit.
