Big Problem on TASKalfa 2552ci - Panel

    Hi Guys,

    I've just retired a TASKalfa 2552ci from a customer.
Panel looks like in image attached.

I don't think can be a panel problem. I try to set TA to copy mode and press start to make a copy.
Original sheet is scanned thru DP but printer stay with Process and Memory blinking.

    Maybe the main board?
    What do you think?

I don't know what can be happened to this machine, client called me to repair it.

    Thank you in advance,
    Kyove

Since you say it tries to copy and then hangs up I would look at the main board first.
When you think you have made a procedure idiot proof your company employs a better idiot.

    The possibilities are:

    - LCD panel
-Cable that runs from Main PCB to LCD panel
    - Main PWB

I'd start with the least expensive stuff before replacing Main PWB as it will be expensive.

EDIT: You may try calling Hytec and talking to their service dept. as they have extensive knowledge in troubleshooting board problems. They've helped me in the past. See link below:

If his problem was an over-heating situation, I would think he could turn the machine off to let it cool off and it would work for a while until it over-heated again.

In my case I don't think could be an over heating.
Yesterday I shut down the machine and disconnect power cord. This morning I have the same problem.

I'll change the main board and post future developments.

    Thank you all,
    Kyove

I would think its more likely to be control panel but I've never had my self. Good luck
