TA 4551 DP 790 Not communicating with Copier

Hello, When I put paper in the ADF (DP 771) the Green light comes on that says it has paper but won't feed it when I hit the start key. It also won't show the 2 sided function under the "duplex" as in... 2 to 2, 2 to 1 etc.First I did a U906 No luck...Then I changed the entire feeder also the board directly under the feeder in the rear of the copier. (Not sure the name). I also installed the latest firmware. I feel like it's something simple and I went overboard. Thanks so much for any help !!!!

There's a DP-770 and DP-772 for this model. There's no DP-790. There is a DF-790 but that's a 4000-sheet finisher. Which DP do you have, 770 or 772?

It's a DP 771... The Dyslexia is acting up again....

Execute U203 by placing paper in the DP and see if it feeds paper. That's where I would start.

According to the specs that I'm looking at, you can only use a DP-700 or DP-772. Now, I only pulled up the brochure but I'd double check if I were you.

That's probably it, I don't have a U203 option that comes up in service mode either... That sure sounds like it. I will let you know THANKS SO MUCH !!!
