Less than 50k you are gonna get out of rebuild fuser for these.

Kyocera coulntd get their fuser alignment right from factory, bearing always fail prematurely vs claimed.

The process of rebuilding will change the stress balance on the rollers.

If you are in the bind, as we were, but you are starting a vicious cycle...your boss will find out you can, and soon he will ask if you rebuild others. And then you will find you will have less time for more important clients, and eventually, cut into your personal time.

When VoyagerE's were the rage, and they were coming out with fuser updates every week, I was saving the cores and swapping around components to rebuild them, at least to get to the PM kit. It took 2 hours and (3) fusers to make (1) usable one ... with a lot of practice. There were (9) items to watch on the VoyagerE fuser:

    Exit guide front (warp)
Exit guide rear (warp or cracks by the return spring)
    Teflon coated inlet guide (cracks)
    Belt separation guide (surface damage)
    Heat belt (coating)
Foam roller shafts and bearing wear
    Front fuser cover (broken latches)
    Worn thermostats

I haven't had the pleasure of rebuilding an Alphard fuser. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

lol... Tell your friend that I personally didn't have success with 4550 although I have had success with 3550 and lower. Hard to know if technician error (me) or not...
