Kyocera 4551ci - wide white band on black only

I have a Kyocera 4551ci. All the colors look good except black. There's a wide white band 13mm wide. I've replaced drum, PCR and developer. Kinda of at a loss. Any help is appreciated. See examples below.

The examples I posted are the internal color test charts. It's only doing it on black and the K drum, DV unit and PCR are new. Just installed. I'm thinking it may be the laser slit glass but I'm not sure how to clean it. I'm looking for it in the manual. Don't see it yet.

Okay, I see how to clean the laser slit glass. I'll give that a try tomorrow. Still, if anyone has any idea of what the problem is, please let me know.

I don't know. This is about the only area of this model that I've never had to mess with. I'm hoping it's just a dirty laser slit glass.

Something is obstructing laser path. You have to find what. Maybe a some debris or piece of paper or even dead cockroach.

It's parallel to paper path, Billy marked it so I guess your suggestion is even more valid than mine.

Could be. I'll be at their office bright and early in the morning. It's easy enough to remove the metal cover over the slit glass where the laser cleaner arm resides. For good measure, I just uninstalled the laser unit from a machine in the shop. I had never done that before. Wasn't that bad.
