I have a couple of 3501i's here and I was playing around the other day and turned on job accounting. When I walked up to the machine today it was asking me for a accounting username and password...which I had forgotten.
The only thing I could think of was to try turn off job accounting using prescribe commands that earlier had failed to reset the user and password to access the command center. I found one that worked to turn off job accounting. This is the one I sent:
!R! FRPO INIT; EXIT; – initialize the printer to return FRPO values to factory default.
That only turned job accounting off.
To reset the username and password to command center, the only thing that has worked for me is running U021.
