I have problem on TASKalfa 6501i, when I want to copy/scan something longer than 3 pages, every forth page is black on one side from document feeder. Maybe some service bulletin or ?

Perhaps hit the machine with a non-turbo firmware pack, and then go through all the connections of the DP especially the hinge area.
Are you working from single or double sided originals?
When you say "black on one side" do you mean, left vs right, or front vs back?
Do the scan lamp(s) remain on and bright during the operation?
are there any delays while feeding the pages?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Since you state that it happens on copy and scan you can eliminate the print engine, it is a scan problem. Since the 6501i has a dual scan DP it is important to know if this is happening when scanning one sided or two sided, two separate scanners. When you say that every fourth page is black on one side are you duplex printing/copying? A little more clarification on the job process would help.Originally Posted by rvptor
