Agree. On machines with extremely low color usage a developer refresh (or two) can bring back the density. BUT ... if it's not improved, do not run it a third or fourth time consecutively. I've seen it go from slightly undertoned to massively overtoned on the third or fourth refresh, guaranteeing the need to change out the developing unit. =^..^=Originally Posted by WLIT

I don't know if this will help but in every Kyocera manual there is a page in the Appendix called 'Repetitive defects gauge'. It's different for every model. I have attached the one for the xxx1ci model.
