This is something I made for people to use when I'm not around to clear a machine that is coming in (used machine) or going out (lease return):

    Clear Out Machine Data

*These prosses are in order of the time they take. Shortest first.

    SYSTEM INITIALIZATION

System Menu > Adjustments/Maintenance > System Initialization > Login into the machine > Yes

    The machine will reboot itself

    FORMATTING THE HD

Log into Maintenance Mode (10871087) > Input 24 > Start > HDD Format > Full > Execute > Start > Reboot the machine

    DATA SANITATION

System Menu > System Network > Login into the machine > Data Security > Next > Run Immediately > Start > Yes

This should work for most all Kyocera machines. I hope this helps.

    Re: Kyocera 2551Ci

    Thanks!

unfortunately I cannot come into the System menu, because when powering the machine I get an display that says:

"MYQ, myq embedded terminal 7.3.3.1, SEVER OFFLINE"
It gives no reaction whatever . .

Is it possible to disable this screen?

    Thanks .

    Disable the MYQ App first.

I know this may sound stupid, but even on that screen requesting the MYQ server, have you tried 10871087 with the key pad?

I know many times with C codes I can still get the machine into service mode.

    Just a shot.

Along the same lines: On the older Kyoceras, boot to "Door Open" indication > 10871087> close door
    Sometimes works. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Touch the MyQ logo, then enter 1087 and “enter” (once, not 10871087) then select unlock display, then you’ll be able to select job status/cancel and enter 10871087 and run maintenance mode 21 first.

    additional way:

MyQ application would stored on HDD
Shut down the system, remove the power plug from the wall outlet, unplug HDD, start up the system again and you get C0640
    Enter 10871087/ run U024/ execute/ Start
Shut down system, remove the power plug from the wall outlet, plug in HDD again
    Start up system again
System will run HDD format during this start up
    MyQ removed!!

Finally you can run data sanitization by system menue.
