C3210 on Taskalfa 3511i with ARDF DP-7110

Hi. We are a Ricoh Dealer but also technical support to a Kyocera Dealer for his customers.
A customer has two Kyocera Taskalfa 3511i with ARDF DP-7110.
One of the machines has the error code C3210.
We put the working ardf in the machine that had the code and everything works perfectly.
If we put the other ardf in the working Taskalfa 3511i, the code C7901 was displayed.
We therefore preferred to restore everything to avoid new problems, identifying the error code in the ardf and not in the copier.

The service manual advises to replace the CIS unit.
From the parts manual, however, we are not sure which ones are DPSHD PWB and DP relay PWB.

Can you give us some advice?
Is it necessary to replace the CIS and the board, or can we solve the problem in another way?
The customer necessarily wants the DP-7110.

Ciao. Siamo un rivenditore Ricoh ma anche supporto tecnico a un rivenditore Kyocera per i suoi clienti.
Un cliente ha due Kyocera Taskalfa 3511i con ARDF DP-7110.
Una delle macchine ha il codice di errore C3210.
Abbiamo messo l'ardf funzionante nella macchina che aveva il codice e tutto funziona perfettamente.
Se inserivamo l'altro ardf nel Taskalfa 3511i funzionante, veniva visualizzato il codice C7901.
Abbiamo quindi preferito ripristinare tutto per evitare nuovi problemi, individuando il codice errore nell'ardf e non nella fotocopiatrice.

Il manuale di servizio consiglia di sostituire l'unità CIS.
Dal manuale delle parti, tuttavia, non siamo sicuri di quali siano DPSHD PWB e relè DP PWB.

Puoi darci qualche consiglio?
È necessario sostituire il CIS e la scheda o possiamo risolvere il problema in altro modo?

Yes, but the most important error code is C3210, which blocks ARDF DP7110.


The code C7901 only appeared in the working machine when we installed the defective ardf, but it could be a code that came out of the bad luck of the moment.
When we restored the original ardf, the code C7901 did not appear again.

The DP SHD PWB is mounted directly behind the CIS assy in the DP. The DP relay board is mounted to the MAIN PWB in the MFP and has the SATA cable running to it.

Assuming the CIS lamp check in MM061 doesn't come on I would start with the CIS lamp (Fig 5 PF Section 1, Item #1) and/or the DP SHD PWB (Item #6).

The DP relay PWB handles the CIS image data not the lighting so while the easiest to access, it is probably the last thing to try.

Just had the same code on a hidden damage DP-7110 which was dropped on its top but awaiting parts.
