You really shouldn't do this unless there is a competant network guy onsite to create a reservation. If there was, they would probably give you an address.
It should be set outside the DHCP scope so no other device could possibly get this address assigned.
    Hope that helps !

Well if all computers/laptops/ipads etc are all on DHCP, as they are by default, setting a printer as a static IP won’t cause an issue & since printers must have an address that doesn’t change this is how I set my clients up.

The Ricoh was using the same IP address, but I installed the correct Ricoh drivers.

Yikes! So let me get this straight.

You installed the Kyocera machine using the same IP address as the old Ricoh machine and then used the Ricoh driver to print to the Kyocera.

Is that correct or did I misunderstand?

I think he meant 'correct Kyocera drivers' ...so take a breath 😅
Anyway back on topic using old printer IP address is not recommended due to many reasons and one of them is exactly this problem.

Someone or a couple have the wrong driver. Maybe avoid having printer TCP/IP ports duplicates like ex 192.168.0.100_1, _2 etc. Check each PC for driver list in Print Management - delete unwanted and check printer IP ports if duplicate and delete, create new and fresh driver. I would start from here
