CS-DP-7100
as the paper exits the document feeder, the just wont completely shoot the paper out , then goes into 6910 jam code, the belt and rollers are fairly new... took it apart, looking for a staple or debris..any ideas, or thoughts..!! Thanks in advance..
I can be pretty sure that the J6910 has nothing to do with your document processor. J6910 is a finisher jam on the 4000 sheet finisher. Its a rear DF (hence: document finisher) side registration jam. The area you want to focus on is the DF side registration sensor 2.Originally Posted by jper34

when I returned to work on DF-7100, when in service mode 243, didnt hear the eject motor turn on, Has anyone ever had to replace this eject motor. the other 3 DF motors turned on, o.k. ?
I've had a bad punch PWB cause the finisher to act strangely. If you have a punch you might try powering OFF > disconnect the punch > run U906 > and power back on again to see if it changes your issue.

Since maintenance mode 243 is for checking Document processor motors I assume you are working on a DP-7100 with a 9610 jam code.
Make sure the original size is properly indicated, maybe there is a size conflict due to the encoder contacts within the original holder.
There is no eject motor in the DP-7100, in this case I would use maintenance mode 203 instead.
You can use u203 to run the DP without an original to observe rollers turning. Make sure the eject rollers are pressing together enough to drive paper.

your right it is the DP-7100...I did put pressure on exit rollers, as document was coming out, and had little, if any resistance, but maybe your right, I just may need to form the sub rollers tighter...as I had cleaned them, but I did check to make sure it was selecting the correct paper size..Thanks..
