I will go back to the machine this week and take pictures.

Part time retired. OK more retired than part time.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it, maybe, probably not we are at the pub!

Perhaps post the serial number of the unit. As everyone has said, the 4012/3212 use the same fuser, here is a chart for the listed world regions:

12/2020 last fuser mod for offset problem:
    Applicable product: TASKalfa 4012i/3212i
Product Description Part Code Serial No Prefix
    FK-7127 KDA 120V 302V69304_ FH6
    FK-7125 220-240V (Other than KDCN, KDKR) 302V69305_ FH7
    FK-7125(CN) KDCN 302V69C05_ FH7
    FK-7125(KR) KDKR 302V69K05_ FH7
    FK-7121 KDTW 302V69311_ FQV

    Re: TA 4012i Fuser Unit

    Hi all,
I went back to the client again today. My service manager had ordered another FK7125 and sent me out with it. This one fitted and had no problems. I returned with the old fuser and wen to compare it with the first one we received but he had already sent it back. He told me he ordered it using the machine serial number this time.

No answers why it would not fit as it is a easy procedure.

I want to thank all for your feedback and assistance. Hopefully one day I'll be able to contribute some information also.

    Good deal!

You've already contributed by posting as everyone learns from your experience, so thank YOU!

I think everyone has questioned something they pulled from a box at one point or another. Things get sent back wrong sometimes.
