    Kyocera FS 6525 C0480 error

I have a machine that decided to start throwing this code intermittently. Codes goes away when you turn it off and back on, but comes back a day or 2 later. Manual says Faults of RTC
The time is judged to go back based on the comparison of the RTC time and the current time or five years or more have passed. It also says the battery may have become disconnected from the main board and to replace if needed. Before I start replacing boards (cause I don't think you can replace just the battery) has anyone seen this before, it's a new one for me.

You fail to mention if this unit is in a domain or network. If the unit is running on a network/domain, if the machine clock is more than five minutes off the network/domain time you could get this message. MS servers will block devices that have system times different than the network. Check the system time on the machine. BTW the battery is replaceable, you do not have to replace the entire board.

Thanks, apparently that was it. The machine was recently added to the network and was one day off on date & time. I'm usually the one that sets this stuff up, but I didn't check that when I added the machine on the network, didn't realize that was even a thing. All I can say is it shows I always set my dates and times correctly when "I" set them up lol. Thanks for the info.
