    KM5050 SSL e-mail problem

Hello, I am trying to configure a gmail account on a KM5050, but since it does not have ssl for email, it gives me an error, do you know any alternative mail without ssl for this old dinosaur?

That's the problem. It won't do it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Yep

You can use simple port 25 SMTP but no security. Many providers still offer it under alternate servers.

I'd say scan to folder and send from the email client but you have to set up the share as SMB1.

Aside from that you're kind of down to FTP or TWAIN pull.

Scan to thumb drive is always an option as long as machine support it.
    Just kidding 😊

We use InMotion hosting for customers without internal smtp relays. It’s less than 150.00 per year and you get unlimited host accounts. We currently have over 500 accounts through InMotion and it works flawlessly. Easy to configure with or without ssl/tls or start/tls. Super convenient way to have scan to email on older boxes and new ones. We do not charge our customers for it but I suppose you could.

Yes I did forget that one. Funny because it's my home go-to.

Don't laugh, but my home office machine has no wifi and sits where I don't want to run a cable. (...and before you say it, I'm too lazy to hook up an AP Billy)

I believe you can use Stunnel to encrypt it.
    Hope that helps !
