    Exclamation TaskAlfa 308ci Toner identity issue

    Good Afternoon All,

    we have had a few instances of this issue but have been unable to resolve it.
    TaskAlfa 308ci, The issue is every so often the machine reports that all of the toners are non genuine.
    we only use genuine toner but the weird thing is the machine will revert to saying they are all fine the same day without intervention.

    This is all backed up by the event report, 4 non genuine toners followed by 4 genuine toners all ok.

    customers are getting a bit &^%$ off with the non genuine messages.

    so far we have tried.
    New sets of toner
    cleaned all contacts and re made connections
    new engine board
    latest firmware.

    Official sites have no bulletin as to known issues.

    Anyone else had/have this issue or a fix?

    I don't recall anything for the 308ci specifically but I'm sure one of our lads had something similar that turned out to be the 'PARTS PWB RFID ASSY SP - 302R694110' or it's associated wiring, it certainly would be the next logical step..




    'logical' and copier electrical issue in the same sentence!!..

    Still under investgation at KDC.
    Seems to be a FW problem during coming up from sleep mode.
    Change from U346 can be helpfull until modified FW available.
    Less energy save mode + no more auto sleep solved it in our cases.

    Kyocera said today that a new firmware will released soon
