    Kyocera 6002i black streaks

My first time seeing one of this series as I mostly do Ricoh now days.
Machine has 400k and they are only using genuine toner.
Iím thinking drum and main charge, but I had them order the maintenance kit even though it is not due quite yet.
Right track or another known issue for these?
    Thanks.

Looks to me like something is in the drum seal/blade area causing toner to drop. Could also be primary belt cleaning, but that's not a normal defect.
    Hope that helps !

problem visible in margin areas --> charge related
Remove MC, disassemble cleaning blade, check for foreign objects at first
Hopefully no blocked waste forwarding to waste drive unit
In case of waste blocking, follow up tmaged and check waste drive from belt also.

    That sounds like trouble.

the developer is likely puking toner, which has been an issue for that model in the early days. it will be instantly obvious upon visual inspection of the developer unit.

I went ahead and replaced the maintenance kit.
Everything looks good but they did say it was happening intermittently so we will see.
