Hi All;
I am running into jam 9310 on a TA 5004i using a Dual scan DP 7160. It only happens once in a while. It is pointing to the DP backside sensor.
Has any one run into this jam code issue.
Any ideas ?

While your problem is not noted as part of this bulletin, the adjustments below are recommended for correct image timing detection for the DP-7160 upon installation (due to a potential problem with the SLANT sensing, which I have seen a few times as slanted copy output):
[Adjustment procedures]
Execute the procedures below. No Procedures to execute
1
Change [On/Off Config] of U075 (Adjust DP slant) from On to Off.
2
Detach the DP right hinge cover and angle limiter bracket to adjust the DP attachment position with the adjustment screw if it is necessary to adjust the leading edge image slant.
3
Detach the DP rear cover to adjust the DP height with the height adjustment screw on the DP left hinge if it is necessary to adjust the trailing edge image slant.
4
Execute [DP FU/FD(ChartB)*] of U411 (Scanner auto adjustment).
*Execute [DP Auto Adj] if ChartB is not available.
5
Change [On/Off Config] of U075 (Adjust DP slant) from Off to On.
6
Execute the item below if necessary.
U068: DP scanning position adjustment
U070: DP magnification adjustment
U072: Adjusting the DP original center
7
If it is necessary to fine-tune the leading edge timing, change [On/Off Config] of U075 (Adjust DP slant) from On to Off to execute U071 (Adjusting the DP leading edge Timing (The original image slant correction function is invalid if turning it off).
*It is planned to upgrade the firmware to enable fine-tuning of the leading edge timing with the original image slant correction function turned on.
Field Measure: Execute the above adjustment procedures when installing DP-7160/7170.

Had a brand new one do same thing and we replaced the sensor which fixed it.
Are you guys leaving sim 75 off or on?
The way I'm reading the information, there is a future firmware update aimed at correcting this issue. For now leave it OFF ... until the firmware comes out. I suspect that you'll probably have to re-run all those adjustments again, once the firmware is loaded. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
