Hi All,
When printing form one of our Kyocera 4052 machines, a block of colored lines appear on the page as shown below. Any ideas on how to get rid of the lines?
I have replaced the yellow drum as the machine also had a C7904 error.

Transfer belt is the issue.
Check the cleaning assembly on the belt, you will likely need to change the belt though
With 2 million pages on this machine isn't it about time for an upgrade??
Also, make sure that the primary transfer waste spout is not obstructed. If the primary transfer waste auger is obstructed, then it's only a matter of time before the belt cleaning unit backs up again.
The patches that you see on the copies are the color registration and toner density patches, that have not been properly cleaned off of the primary transfer belt. These patches are produced to calibrate the machine.

Apologies I did but wasen't sure where that is located on the machine. It's not where the waste toner bottles are inserted is it?
It runs the whole back of the machine, then to the bottle assembly. It's common on that model for the waste toner auger to back up, damaging augers, gears, and splitting open the two-piece housing. =^..^=
