I'm going somewhere with this so bear with me.

Now that I have access to real training via KDA central website, a lot of gaps are being filled in. For instance: THe CASS System. I've heard this talked about but wasn't 100% clear on exactly how it worked. I'm clear on it now. This excites me to no end.

    Back to training...
I admit I tend to breeze through online training, but I did make it to the Kyocera Regional competition 2 years ago... I'm stumped, what is the "CASS System"?

The Cass System is a method used by Kyocera to keep the carrier fresh thus extending the life of the developer. This is accomplished by the toner being infused with a small amount new carrier that is added to the DV unit and the old/worn carrier is discharged to the waste toner bottle via centrifugal force.

    Don't Fuck with IT

Lots of setting adjustments 99.99 its not an adjustment its a bad part.

Hopefully that saves us all from what did you learn today

I often wonder if you know how to work on these machines. I say that because reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, son. I didn't ask whether or not I should adjust the sensor. I asked for an opinion on this new feature for the 3-series. Is it an improvement? Does it work as intended? Or is it problematic? Obviously, you have no idea so let someone else opine.

    No it's not problematic

You're a stone cold idiot and you've left no doubt in my mind that you don't know what you're talking about.

Kyocera fucks up all the time. That's why they come out with updates to fix their fuckups.

You're much too smart for me. Move along.

Here's my first question. The new DP-7130 comes with a double-feed sensor and sends a sonic signal thru the paper. If more than one sheet is fed the sonic signal will be weaker @ the receiver. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted by the tech. The sensor can be turned on/off.

Question: What's your opinion on this DFP sensor? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
    Hello Billy,

I think you are asking for DP-7160/ 70 instead of DP-7130
we have had similar sensor on Mercury series in past and finally KYO disabled working, because of high failure rate.
At the moment we have a lot of problems with DP-7160/ DP-7170 because of multi paper feeding/ paper jams.
TORQUE LIMITER FEED_303JX07401 makes trouble, but no trouble with this multi feed sensor
Up to yet it seems to work fine

Thanks for the information. I thought the ultrasonic sensor sounded like a great improvement in theory and that seems to be the case. Thanks again.
