    scan smb with win 7

    Hello... I have set up a kyocera ta 250ci with smb. PC is a windows 7, I shared the folder and various permits, but does not work. Who can give me a help .... thanks

    Try changing the smb port on the web page address book to prt 445 instead of the standard port 139

    When to try to scan what error do you get. Try using computer name instead of IP address as HOST or vice versa. Make sure that the pc has a login password. Check if their is a domain name.

    with the above settings try this also.create a local user in the name of scanner and give a static password.share the folder with all rights to all local users. best of luck.
