    Kyocera FS2100DN, dots on page

    Hi everybody,

the printer is a little old I know, but It always served well, now it prints like the image I attached. The dots are evenly spaced every 30mm vertically. Charger roller?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Yes, sir. The OP needs to get in the habbit of measuring the distance between marks/lines/dots and refer to the repetitive defect gauage.

Thanks, that is very helpful, I actually overlooked that part of the manual, which, by the way, is not very well written, I found several instances of "chager roller"...

do you all clean and perhaps scrub the charge rollers and if so, what do you clean/scrub them with, ... scotch brite, paper towel, windex, dish soap...or no don't touch it?
    jes curious.

Water and a cotton cloth are usually good enough. You can wear through them so nothing abrasive.
    Hope that helps !

Water or ammonia-free glass cleaner, with a soft cloth. Do not scrub, just wipe. Make sure it's COMPLETELY dry, before re-installing.

Nothing abrasive, nothing caustic, nothing oily. No Zep Fast505. Alcohol will cause it to shed or peel the outer layer.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
