    Kyocera 7353ci magenta problems

Have a customer that has a 7353ci that the Magenta has a streak in it. The tech changed the drum unit, developer unit, ran refresh on both, etc. the machine is level, and cleaned. The transfer belt and the secondary transfer roller also replaced.t only does it on the Magenta. Have a different machine that the Magenta is doing about the same thing only worst. What is it with the Magenta?
    Only OEM toners ever used.

Firmware is up to date, even reloaded the full version.

Help would be appreciated. We have done everything we can think of.
    Thanks

" See streaks at the bottom of the page " 11 x 17 sample so the streaks on at the back of the machine.

you have cleaned the optics? the sensors above the ITB? i have seen weird stuff like that before and seems it was power related. just me adding my 2 cents worth.

I've seen this multiple times. the first time I saw it took me a bit of time to figure out but it was the DV unit. No matter how much I cleaned it and surrounding components I couldn't keep it from happening. After I replaced the DV unit it all stopped.
For what it's worth I hope this helps.

Already replaced the drum unit, developing unit, transfer belt, secondary transfer roller, cleaned the machine, ran updates, refresh drum and developer, etc.

I'd guess it's something on the laser slit glass. You could tape it or the main charge to see if it goes away.
    Hope that helps !

well known for me with CMY at once
    let`s try the following:
    1. reset color registration by U467 (set to OFf/ leave SP/ enter SP again and set back to ON)
    2. Run U469
    let us know the result

Looks like it is laser related. Only one colour. You’ve eliminated everything else. I presume you’ve done multiple laser cleans? Easy enough to pull out the laser unit and inspect and clean the slit glass manually. I’ve had more than one that’s been hazy on the inside of the glass too. What the machines environment like?

    Re: Kyocera 7353ci magenta problems

our techs finally replaced LSU units and still same issue.
At least wrong registration values by U468 found.
Feel free to clean or change laser unit, but at first i would reset color reg values in U467.
Because we did not get maintenance report to check values from U468 for further analysing, follow up the enclosed workflow i shared with our techs.

I’ve seen registration out that could only be fixed doing multiple manual adjustments before. I will remember this and try it next time I see it. Thank you.
