Centering a scan made from Dot Matrix paper.

Hello, I have a client that uses dot matrix paper for medical billing, these papers are four pages thick - the original page and three carbon copy sheets. The client would like to use a Kyocera MFP with a DP-7110 to scan the original without separating the carbon sheets and getting the page centered to capture all the information, they are attempting to run several of these sets back to back for speed and not just one set at a time. Any suggestions on the copier setup to attempt this job? Thanks in advance.Dot Matrix Paper.jpg

The only machine I know of that can do this job is the Canon NP-6060 with tractor feed option. We had two or three of these in the field and they worked pretty well. I haven't seen one since ... perhaps 2003.

I can't seem to locate a photo. You would raise the DF, then flop over the tractor feeder over the same slit glass. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I assume they want high speed document storage?

Maybe something like an overhead projector or fixed HD camera on a tripod.

Can't help the feeling that there is something real dumb in the work flow here...
Always comes down to were did it come from and where does it need to go.
Four pages thick... So it used to be five?

You can always try to disable the DF separation and feed them one by one.
Take it that they are single pages and not strung together.
    Whatever

I was actually factory trained on this little beast. I think I was in the second class held in Chicago.

I had a few with the CFF option. Once properly adjusted, they worked OK.

Other than that, the rest of the machine was a total POC. Tons of issues with clutches...about a bazillion updates to do. Something like a hundred tech pubs. What a nightmare.
